Low Price ASUS Eee PC 1008HA Seashell 10.1-Inch Pearl Black Netbook - 6 Hour Battery Life

Took a chance and bought this for traveling, not expecting much for my $417. I have been totally blown away by this little unit and take it everywhere with me now. No, you're not going to edit video or perform masterpieces in Photoshop - but I haven't found anything else that it can't do (it may be slower than my dual-core Dell, but it still gets me there). Love the size and the looks, rounded corners and hidden ports look great - ASUS should be paying me because I think I've probably sold about 10 for them to people in my office. My ONLY complaint (and it will only affect 1 out of 5) --> I use an AT&T Mecury 3G USB stick for connecting when there's no WiFi and because of the recessed ports this one particular stick is too big to fit directly in. Not a big deal, bought a $6 adapter and works fine. My normal USB memory sticks work fine, it's just this one that doesn't fit. Otherwise, I use this little thing about twice as often around the house as my big Dell, it's just so much easier to carry around & the screen is fine. Have had zero issues with it, getting 4-5 hours out of the battery most of the time. The newer model (1005) has removable battery and a lot of people like this option, I like the smaller size better, much nicer to tote around.
